My Bio also known as Who Am I? ©
By Pamela Ross, MD
Because there are not many of these (5th Tuesdays.) I have decided to take some blog space to spill and flow with excerpts from my personal journal writings. I call them my “5th Tuesday Expressions” Series. Like I said, you won’t see too many of these. So….
Here we go!
I am a woman. I am not ashamed of being a woman.
I embrace archetypes and prototypes that represent womanhood.
I will not attempt to emulate [some] men
By becoming mental, physical and/or spiritual oppressors of women… And I will not be intimidated by women who do.
I am being WOMAN – centripetal and sensitive and fluid and cyclical….
Though you insist, I resist defining myself to you through:
whom I’ve read,
what I‘ve written,
who I know,
why I write and when
who made me do it
and what is my end?
I encourage you embrace my presence – my NOW in this moment.
And from this moment to the next moment as I unravel, then manifest, then evolve.
Moving in and out of variations
And syncopated rhythms
And imagery into the complicated essence of ALL of me.
I am being woman – centripetal and sensitive and fluid and cyclical…
Calling all women! Calling all ladies!
Calling all righteous, quintessential sisters!!!
Calling all the “shes” and “hers” – to STAND UP and BE woman!
BE womanhood.
